Super Bowl Fashion

Expect Ermenegildo Zegna to make an appearance at this year's Super Bowl XLVIII.

WWD asked Peyton Manning, five-time MVP and quarterback of the Denver Broncos, which designer he would be wearing on Sunday.  His response was, "I'll have a good-looking Zegna suit on."

It seems Zegna runs in the family, as his brother Eli has often been spotted wearing the popular Italian designer's suits.

Retailers have also been hopping on the Super Bowl bandwagon.  Bloomingdale's unveiled 48 designer helmets in their windows on January 15th.  The retailer partnered with the Council of Fashion Designers to commission one-of-a-kind helmets.  Helmets will be up for auction to support the NFL Foundation, and include designers Alexis Bittar, Alice + Olivia, Diane von Furstenberg, John Varvatos, Kenneth Kole, Michael Bastian, and Todd Snyder.  Currently, the highest bid is for the haute couture helmet by John Varvatos at $2,276.  Auction closes Tuesday night at midnight.
